AN-30 (FC product or An-24FK, according to NATO codification: CLANK-“LIGHT”)-air surveillance airplane and aerial photography. Designed in OKB them. O.K. Antonova, together with the OKB named after G. M. Beriev. The An-30 is a deep modification of the AN-24 passenger aircraft and is intended for aero-photographic and aeroheophysical work. It is also used in military aviation for air intelligence.
The development of the An-30 began in July 1964, when the Soviet government put before the OKB named after O. K. Antonova The task of creating an AN-24 passenger aircraft specialized aircraft for aerial photography. The customer was the Main Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet (GVF) of the USSR with the support of the Air Force. Initially, the car was conceived in two different formats: for civil aviation and for the Air Force, however, they later stopped on a single layout with the installation of various photographs and special stories on the basic modifications of the An-30A and An-30B.
A sketch design and a layout under the designation of the An-24FK was represented by the customer in 1965. It was supposed to equip an emblem instead of the Emblem radar in the extended bow of the storman-aerophobic, install additional fuel tanks in the centroplan, a subcutress, sew the luggage door tightly, and also raise the cabin to improve the view and access to the navigator’s cabin, which became a distinctive feature All An-30. A full crew was planned from seven people: two pilots, a navigator-aerophobic, a radio operator, an flight mechanic and two operators. In parallel, photo equipment was prepared allowing shooting for topographic cards with a scale of 1: 3000 and 1: 150000.
In the spring of 1967, at the experimental plant OKB named after Beriev in Taganrog made a prototype-An-24FK in the option "A". The first flight on it is the crew of the test pilot I.E. Davydov on August 21, 1967. In total, 32 flights were made according to option “A”. At the beginning of next year, the An-24FK tests in the option “B” were tested at the Air Force Research Institute, 13 flights were committed. The aircraft was tested by testing pilots Yu. N. Kurlin, Yu. N. Ketov, B.V. Stepanov, V. A. Zalyubovsky, tester-test G. N. Gumenyuk, Bordradist Yu. S. Sumy, leading engineer B. M. . Yushkov.
