UT-2 is a Soviet training aircraft of the pre-war and war periods.

UT-2 with the M-11 engine according to the scheme is a single-engine two-seat monoplane, with a pulling propeller, a low-lying cantilever wing, open instructor and student cockpits arranged in tandem, and a non-retractable landing gear in flight. In winter, the chassis changed to ski (wooden skis).

Designer - A. S. Yakovlev. The prototype of the UT-2 was AIR-10. Mass produced in 1938-1948. A total of 7243 pieces were produced.

The plane is shown in detail in the film Courage, staged at the Lenfilm studio in 1939 by director Mikhail Kalatozov.

In addition, in 1942-1943, at the aircraft assembly plant No. 600 in Urumqi (Xinjiang, China), another 80 UT-2MV were assembled from vehicle kits.
